This mansion, located in Kensington, MD, was built in 1890 as a summer home for Brainard Warner, a banker and real estate developer. The mansion grounds is a large circle. The mansion has changed hands several times, and at one time became a nursing home. It eventually sat empty and started to deteriorate. The state of MD bought it in 2005 and is raising funds to renovate the mansion.
