@Florence: I am not sure but our waiter was French. "Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day of 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is "French, Fun and Friendly". Bistro means a Neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price."

Thanks for your answer Elaine. Well, anyway, Michhel Verson sounds very french indeed. :-)

And bistrot is also used here daily in France, synonymous of "café", "bar", "brasserie"... a place where you can eat simple meals very quicky (which is the sens of russian word "bistro" !)...
