National Park Seminary

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 14 August 2013 in Art & Design.

National Park Seminary first opened in 1894. It was a finishing school for girls. The property also once served as a hotel. During WWII, the army took it over as an extension of Walter Reed Army Hospital. The school was made a historic site in 1972. Currently the buildings and grounds are being restored.

"There are moments when time stands still. You hope it will wait for you."
