Balancing Act

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 25 November 2014 in Architecture.

This elephant gargoyle balancing a book on its head with the help of his trunk was dedicated to the former manager of the Cathedral's bookstore and for his love of books. The elephant was chosen because of their superior memory. Happy Silly Tuesday!

I love this ... and I'm laughing, Elaine, because my husband recently put a photo album on his head, saying he wanted to push some memories back in. I may reference your image when I post his. <grin>
