Snow Again

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 6 March 2015 in Miscellaneous.

We got about 10 inches (25.4 cm) of snow yesterday. Spring can't get here soon enough! This was taken looking out my kitchen window.

Oh, but it makes such a wonderful scene. Remember, Elaine, you need to suffer for your art.

6 Mar 2015 6:53pm

@Gary: OK! I can't complain too much! Supposed to be nice this coming week.

We also got a lot of snow yesterday. Like you, I am ready for it to melt away. Enough is enough. Nice snow covered scene

OMG, Elaine ... the trees and the fence looks exactly like our backyard ... extremely similar. Love this shot and we got the same ... 10" ... we were out shoveling several times to try and keep on top of it. We are totally beat up. LOL

6 Mar 2015 7:57pm

@RBL: It looks like next week is supposed to be warmer. Maybe all the snow will melt!

Bruce from Tacoma, United States

As one who loves winter and snow I am jealous. We are already having our flowers bloom and I had to mow the lawn yesterday.

6 Mar 2015 8:04pm

@Bruce: Wow! I can't believe you mowed the lawn already! This snow was actually very pretty, but I am still looking forward to warmer weather!

Carol from Leamington, Canada

A picture certainly is worth a thousand words here... maybe this will be it for the snow Elaine... Spring has to be close by. We had sun yesterday but still brrrrr cold.... our long range forecast says we are getting milder weather! YAY!! :)

6 Mar 2015 9:48pm

@Carol: Ours too! It is supposed to be above freezing all next week and even have springlike temperatures! Looking forward to it!
