Solitary Tree

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 11 March 2015 in Landscape & Rural.

I drove to Antietam and the surrounding area to take some pictures. The countryside is so pretty there. It is about 40 miles from where I live.

Une photo qui donne envie d'aller fouler cette neige et profiter du silence.
L'arbre solitaire est-il heureux ou triste si seul dans ce paysage tout blanc ?

Wonderful winter shot ! The white snow and the blue sky. Beautiful color contrast. Only one tree adds the nice taste to this. I like it very much. Have a great day, Elaine. :)

A splendid composition with a gorgeous sky to complement the pristine snow!! The sky seems more appropriate for a summer day....we just keep our hopes up for an early arrival.

A lovely shot of the wind-swept field and the lone tree.
I may have written this before, but our son-in-law owned 80 acres in Texas that had one tree, and hence the name Single Tree Farm.
