Charming old lady - I had the same in green but mine had a transport rack in the back for my schoolbag ! When I got more modern one one Xmas, we called the two awkward handles --- Gesundheitslenker - Health handles - as you had always to sit straight !!!!!

They've certainly changed over the years.... that was the first thing that came out at springtime.... the bike and rollerskates (the ones with a key) :) A great composition.... and memories!

I like the patriotic colors and the (apparently) added "hood ornament" on the front fender. The blocks on the pedals seem to indicate it was abandoned before it was outgrown, let's hope for a fancier multi-speed machine. The background also makes this look like a garage sale or a second hand store.
