The One Two Punch

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 5 August 2015 in Sport & Recreation.

I went to the boxing gym to practice my action shots. I didn't do a very good job. I need a lot more work!

I like the look of concentration. A gritty vintage atmosphere you capture here.

I think is a very good image. B&W is very suitable and is well done. The PoV is nice, the reflection very fine.
Only one problem: I don't like boxing ! :))

Have a nice day !!

@Graciel·la (Vic. Catalonia): I'm not a big fan either but I went to watch my son. He gets a good cardio workout and I can take pictures.

A fine place for action shots. The backgrounds in these kind of places tends to distract from your subjects. You have made a good start taking action shots. I hope you continue taking such shots.

Love the intensity and drama of B&W. Good for you for boxing!

I think you did a good job taking the photo. You may have flopped in the ring, however!! Those guys look like they mean business. I like the mirror image in the background. Good work.
