@BiLL: I am not really sure but probably the rock. This was taken a couple of years ago. I was in the Eastern Sierra Nevada foothills at the Travertine Hot Springs that are located near Mono Lake. The rock formations were quite interesting as were the colors of the rock.

@beach: I think that it was probably the rock. This was at the Travertine Hot Springs in California. The rock had unusual shapes and colors.
