Grand Canyon

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 10 June 2017 in Landscape & Rural.

This was from a couple of years ago. I am still using the cane and not quite steady walking around on uneven surfaces so I haven't taken many pictures lately except from a car window. I was really disappointed because the Frederick Barn Tour is this weekend and I go every year but some of the barns are not on level ground and there is quite a bit of walking. Progress is just slow.

A beautiful image Elaine. The color and the shadows are superb. 5* Just concentrate on getting well. When you are mobile again, then you can take your wonderful pictures. There will be other Barn Tours. Take it easy and get well.

@Shaun: Thank you Shaun. I am working on it. It is just frustrating that it is taking so long. I thought that in March I would be out and about more in May and here it is June. But I will look forward to the barn tour for next year!

This is a gorgeous image of the Canyon. I appreciate your comment. I had a similar experience until I gave the cane up and went to a walker for the stability it provied. Now I'm dependent on the walker. :-)

I am sorry to hear you are still struggling. DO you have to go to PT? This is a beautiful image. the rich tones are superb.

10 Jun 2017 1:59pm

@Ruthiebear: Hi Ruthie, I finished PT and now I go to a personal trainer. He wants me to buy a stationary bike to build up the muscles so I need to do that. I have thought about joining a gym to see if that might help.
