Nice shot. We had an unusual year for tomatoes. Some plants had only one or two despite lots of flowers, others were late developing despite being planted at normal time. It was a wet, wet, cool, summer. So I suppose that was it. But nothing beats a tomato right off the plant. Nothing.

@beach: We also had a wet summer which I think affected the tomatoes. At the beginning of the summer, the bottoms of the tomatoes seemed to turn brown and get mushy before they were ready to be picked. As the summer progressed, that went away and the tomatoes were pretty good. I probably got a below average turn out.
