First Snow

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 12 December 2017 in Miscellaneous.

We had our first snow on Saturday. I got about 3 inches (7.6 cm). It mostly covered the grass and by the next day most of it had melted.

Gorgeous how the red pops. DId you make that glass hanging? We had about 5.5 inches and it is still covering the ground.

12 Dec 2017 4:04pm

@Ruthiebear: Yes I did make it. I have a few hanging in my front window. It is supposed to get much colder and maybe more snow. I do my glass work in my garage and even with the small space heater I am still cold!

The perfect image to celebrate the season's fist show. I love that beveled glass flake.

@Steve Rice: Thanks Steve. My other passion besides photography is stained and fused glass. I have made several of these and have them hanging in my window.

Beautiful glass prism to frame the view out the window!! The red really "pops" here! We had our first measurable snow late yesterday.
