I was in a bad spot when trying to photograph this church window.

A lovely elegant piece of stained glass and some nice woodwork details to go with it. How sad to let this fine work crumble, though it makes for a nice distressed capture for you

A great shame the church is abandoned, but hope the window may be saved. 5*

It's a great looking window that deserves preservation. Stained glass is very appealing.

Wow ! Impressive. Here, here would be nothing, neither crystal, nor lead .... prehaps nor wood .

I love the colors! It is surprising to see such a beautiful stained glass window contrasted with the weathered wood and pealing paint. It must be in a protected place to survive vandals or theft.

@B. Thomas: This was in a really small town on the Eastern shore of Maryland where everyone seemed to be related. I went there to visit a junk shop that I had heard about. The church was right across the street and the owner said that his uncle owned the church and used it for storage. There was a boat parked in front of the church. It was an interesting place.

What great shape it is in considering it is abandoned!! I love the color combinations as well. Great find!

Hopefully someone will rescue the window and makes you wonder about the many people within in the past that looked at it while praying and were amazed and saw its beauty!

beautiful window, and the surrounding peeling wood highlights the care this old building needs. I hope some vandals don't practice their rock throwing skills here.
