Feeling Connected

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 26 February 2019 in Animal & Insect.

This was at Robbie's Marina in the Florida Keys. The fishing dock had a hole cut out of it. Tarpon and manatee would swim underneath the dock and then into the cut out hole and they would pop their heads up out of the water to be fed. This manatee had a calf who was so cute.

"There are moments when time stands still. You hope it will wait for you."

@B. Thomas: It was a wonderful experience. The baby was just so sweet. They are such docile creatures.
