White Fence

Posted by
Elaine Hancock (Olney, United States) on 21 April 2024 in Landscape & Rural.

This is an estate that has been uninhabited for many years (at least 20 years). The main area around the house is enclosed by a high iron fence. There is a tall gate at the entrance that is locked. It appears that someone is taking care of the house. This field was once a grassy grazing area for horses. Now it is being taken over by trees and bushes.

Coucou Elaine,

@Pascale MD: Hello Pascale, I totally agree. I wish that the growth had been a bit controlled. The brush is so thick that it seems to be choking out the trees. With the trees in bloom, the whole area was white and beautiful.

Very beautiful framing of this place.

The fence is doing its job keeping the brush at bay,

That looks like a place wild animals would love...

@Rose: There is a lake nearby. I bet there are some deer living in there. I just wish that the brush wasn't choking out the trees. It is really taking over.

This natural and plant barrier protects the property from prying eyes.
:-)

@Roger Dekert: It certainly does. You can barely see the house.
